Er.

The man was taken aback and didn't really know what to say. He kind of just stood there, blinking at the boy and occasionally running a hand through his hair as the kid spoke. Was this what all of this had been about? Some tattoos? And about Jaemin wanting some of his own?! To that last point, Hirsch was going to have to say no. He may not be biologically related to the Slytherin in any way but no.

Okay. Questions. "First of all, take it easy, okay? Take a deep breath." Because he looked like he was one or two questions away from being out of air. "Tattoos...... are like art. Some people appreciate them and some don't. It really depends on the girl you're talking about." At this point, he sort of just looked at the boy, wondering if there was a girl behind all of this that he was trying to impress. "They hurt but that depends on where you get them. Some areas, like your forearm, won't hurt a lot but other areas, like your elbow or your ribs will hurt a lot."

Pause.

"You want to get a tattoo? Why?! You're not trying to impress someone, are you?"

He had no time to take it easy, Hirsch. NO TIME. He had things to DO. The answers the man was giving were just not what Jaemin wanted to hear. What if he got a tattoo and... and... WHAT IF HE GOT ONE AND IT WAS NOT APPRECIATED. Were all girls not like Marion Burbage?! WHY WERE THEY NOT ALL LIKE MARION BURBAGE?! He looked pointedly at his wrist, fingers giving a slight twitch as he pulled the arm back. He could deal with pain if necessary... he wasn't getting one on his RIBS, because then it would be hidden and what was the point of it being hidden?! It had to be out there for EVERYONE to see!

Why was Hirsch asking him questions?! He hadn't told him where he could go to get one, and Jaemin was assuming he couldn't get one in the school, because... well, it was school. And it was likely that there weren't any places in Hogsmeade that he could make a stop at quickly. Which meant that a tattoo right now was out of the question. Which SUCKED. IT WAS SUCH A GOOD IDEA. He stared up at Hirsch for a good long moment, knuckles white as his fingers clenched around the shoe still in his hand, before his head suddenly turned to one side and he stared down the hall as if he had just been called.

Without another word, he bolted. GOTTA GO.
