I don't think your parents would be thrilled to get owls with those things in it about you or any about behavior in a class." He walked over toward him for a moment, "You will take out your parchment and write detailed notes for the remainder of class. You will do the painting by hand since you do enjoy the muggle way more and then after dinner this evening you will return to my office with your wand to show me what you have learned." The boy seemed to need the extra one on one practice anyway seeing from the last two terms.
That was all he was going to say for now, but he'd be watching, always watching.
What....was he talking about....?
This was his Third Year of skipping lessons and plain walking out on others. Not once had anyone tried to stop him, nor did anyone take points or throw him in detention. In fact, he'd stormed out of this class last September and nothing had come of it...so....these 'concerns' the man was having, forgive him, but they seemed misplaced. "My parents have gotten owls about my future from my Head of House," the only man who seemed determined to meddle, "and it concerns them but not for reasons you might think." They'd sat him down the night before the Train Station; said he was old enough to understand and all that. He sort of saw where they were coming from but that was also not in the conventional sort of way that you would expect.
Behaviour wise, the boy was a model student--in the classes he attended. It had a lot to do with actually wanting to be there, though he supposed the Professor wouldn't know that. Not when his class was the one the boy visited only every once in a blue moon.
Blaise was somewhat put off by the fact the man wouldn't let him leave 'to go get his wand' but he you couldn't really blame him. Must have known setting foot outside meant not coming back at all. Smart man. For now, Blaise did as he was bid, pulling out a sheet of parchment and placing it against his easel. Not willing to disturb his quill already so hard at work, the boy pulled another of his quick quotes quills from his bag and set it to work taking notes on the spell. An interesting sight in truth as both quills scribbled away; being sure to catch everything while he watched. SPOILER!!: Second Part Quote:

I am horrible at drawing, but with charms I can become a masterpiece. Now people do not get famous for their charmed artwork of course, no, that is for pure talent, but we can all have fun." Were they following? Especially the ones that you could tell by their face were not enjoying this at all. Turning to his canvas he pointed his wand. "You will want to think of the color you want your drawing, I am going to think about red. The incantation is figura and then the shape you want. So lets say I want to make a circle. I will take my wand and make the circle so it knows the size I want and then do the incantation." Turning to the parchment he moved his wand in a big circle motion, but made sure the circle wasn't perfectly round, "Figura circle" A perfectly round circle the size he had wanted appeared. "Now using the next parchment on your easel go ahead and work on just making shapes. Remember to say the shape you want so that it will work."
As the next incantation was given, Blaise peered down at the parchment the quill jotted these oh so detailed (if not somewhat embellished and thus distorted) notes on. It might have bothered him but surely this spell was in his text. He would find it and make better notes later, or have his cousin duplicate his so they could share. Bentley was a good person, he would never let him go without.
When his gaze fell on the parchment again, the boy considered what the Professor had said. 'Finish the drawing by hand'. It WAS finished. The whole drawing was a single line. How was this not obvious? What more did he want?
Blaise looked about the room at the others working diligently now on the new spell. Shapes? He wanted him doing shapes?
Huh. The 13 year old gestured with his finger to the quill that had been taking notes a moment ago. "Horizontal line from the top of that line to...here." He placed a finger on the spot he'd have liked the quill to stop then watched it comply. Oh look at that. Ever the obedient thing. "Another line from that end point to the one at the start in a diagonal direction." Again the quill went to work.
A triangle. There. Shape. The man was welcome.
