catching up x3 Ability is nothing without Opportunity | | Creativity is Intelligence having FUN He returned Haddie's wave hello with his signature megawatt beam. He was enjoying all this very messy activity, and his once plain canvas now a lovely gradient of colors. The Charms Professor has now appeared and Tenacius was just idly listening... Right so this is them learning how to do things by hand minus any kind of tool or magic. Yeah he gets it.
But oh hey now they can use a brush? Tenacius leaned back into his seat and wondered what can he draw now that would matter in a canvass full of paint? As he tried to figure out what he wanted to do next, the Professor continued with his lecture-- whoah wait so now they can get their drawings to move?? Oh oh oh oh talk about motivation.
Right!.... Tenacius decided on a shape-- a triangle, and he took the fine tip brush and dipped it in dark color, then started to draw it against the gradient of oranges and blues. There a triangle.... and a crescent shaped thing for the boat. A ship at sea. He remembered an old painting of his dad's sitting in his den. It looked nothing special, unlike all the other expensive works of art that adorned the place, but his dad seemed very attached to it, and personally this boy liked its simplicity.
Tenacius was suddenly reminded of the artwork he made for Muggle Studies-- but this time Professor Primeaux was actually teaching them the spell on how to animate artwork! Can he go back to Professor Stewart and get his Snoopy drawing again because it would totally ROCK when animated.
But yo focus Curly Top! He grabbed his wand-- messy painted hands and all-- and stated tracing the small lonely ship "Animatae!" he murmured. Is it moving? It was hard to tell. "Animatae!" he chanted again, but this time tracing his wand across the blues of what would be the sea.
-- and it looked like the blue sea started to sway back and forth. His ship also looked like it was moving!
ASDFSADFASDFAS!!! The boy beamed. It was working!
Next step was them actually drawing something with their wand? The leonine lad angled his head-- what else can he add to this? Wait given that theres a sky....oh wait he knows! "Figura circle!" he cast his wand excitedly in the shape of a very bright yellow circle against the backdrop of orange gradients. It worked....kinda. It was incredibly faded thought. "Figura circle!" he chanted again and made a circular shape. His sun was now recognizable, not by a lot, but it was there.
... He was starting to wonder if it was actually easier to paint by brush eh? |
