Azura was deep in thought as she pushed her food around her plate with her fork and attempted to make it look like she was eating something.. She mind was on the upcoming holidays, her mother's birthday.. her birthday.. Christmas.
Those thoughts just made her chest ache worse, however.. a voice pulled her from those thoughts and Azura raised her face to look at who was talking to her!
Katherine? Of course she knew who her dorm mate was! But they didn't speak often, they weren't unfriendly, in face when Jace had sat next to them during Muggle studies awhile ago Az had waved at the girl, but this was slightly unusual!
Azura was going to take this opportunity though to get to know her. She could use more friends!
Almost instantly a smiling mask slid over Azura's face.
"Hey Katherine, Morning." She said with a soft smile. "I slept all right. How about you?" She had ended up falling asleep in the common room around 4 am, but the few hours of sleep she had gotten were actually good. For once. |
