If there was ever a time where Hady got upset over not being able to do something know would've been that time. This whole lesson was really getting her nowhere. She had been trying and trying since Airey told them to practice to have nothing whatsoever come of it. First and second years were already getting it and popping balloons and she a very capable sixth year wasn't able to. What was the matter with her today?

Yet again setting down the apple on her desk and staring at it she was going to try. It didn't even have to hit anything, if it just stayed there up in the air like it was supposed to she'd be more then happy.

Flexing her fingers around the smoothness of her wand she pointed it at the apple. Slowly she traced the first circle in the air above it all the while focusing intently on the outcome with reciting "Derivo Gravitatem." Another circle was made along with the incantation and then a final circle as she made sure to speak clearly and close the circle at the 'tem'.

Taking the apple in her hand she tossed it upwards straight above her head. Stay. Stay...

And down it came. AGAIN.

Hady groaned catching the apple and setting it down. She tried again. And again.

AND AGAIN.

All ending in the same exact result. Nothing.

Failure. This was a complete and utter failure. Hady pushed the apple aside on her desk folded her arms on top of the desk and places her head on her arms. She was taking a break before she had a panic attack. This spell wasn't even that hard!
