| Won't post again until saturday/sunday. Swedishfish Girl! Madame Librarian! Jess's Soul Sister! Sweetest Swede! SPOILER!!: Daxton Quote:

Perhaps it was true, in a way; Daxton was always on the lookout for those perfect books, the ones that perfectly satisfied his ongoing quest for knowledge in any given subject. Such books were hard to come by, though, no matter how many times he had browsed even the enormous collection here at Hogwarts.
Eventually, Daxton looked over at Kitridge again, and gave a simple shake of the head, to indicate that he did not actually know what it was he was looking for. Not today, at least.
The remark about his shoes and robes went unaddressed, as Daxton had completely failed to pick on its significance. He pulled another book from the shelf - this time bearing a title that he recognised from his 'To Read/Research' list - and rifled through the first few pages. All conversations with Daxton since the boy had started Hogwarts 2 years before had been a challenge and a test. Given that the boy did not speak. Today it'd be no different Leo concluded as he pushed his trolley further into the section. The automatic shrug told him that he hadn't been the first person and probably wouldn't be the last person either to comment on Daxton's strange attire. He did however feel the need to ask and get it confirmed. "You wear proper school attire and footwear to classes, right Daxton?" He hadn't heard any grumblings about it from his colleagues though.
Gathering up some books from the trolley Leo moved from shelf to shelf to put the books back where they belonged in neat alphabetical order after author. Coming closer to Daxton, the trolley moving after him Leo commented as he put up more books. "Well perusing around among books can lead you to find a book you didn't know you were looking for until you set your eyes on it."
Watching as Daxton pulled out a book from the shelf and started to rifle through the pages Leo asked curiously. "What book are you looking at now?" If he knew that he could help him find other books on the same theme. Before Leo asked about the massive amount of points Daxton had lost already in the term.
