Hadleigh had begun working on the first part of the potion using her wand to add the 500ml of water that was needed into her cauldron. She then flicked her wand at the burner below her cauldron setting a small flame watching as the water began to heat up. As it slowly was brought to a boil she added a pinch of crushed lavender into the cauldron.

"Very well I think. Professor Ichicara feels that within the next few months we'll be ready to move on to the Mandrake leaves portion." Not a part she was looking forward to honestly as who would want to have a leaf in their mouth for a month but if it had to be done then so be it. Picking up a clean stirrer she began to stir the contents of her potion in a counter-clockwise motion counting silently under her breath until she finally reached twenty-one.
