Perspective and opinions were always good.
And Marsha did so without even realising that she was leading the run. She simply loved this course because of its terrain. It wasn’t too flat, too rough or too hilly - but it was a great workout due to the multitude of changes and winding paths included. Looking over her shoulder she asked, ”Is there anywhere you would like to pass specifically?” Or see? Never know what someone wanted to see or do on their run.
Any advice? Certainly! Kay had a bit. She carefully tried to put her words as best as she possibly could as she ran a step or two behind the redhead. "Let's see. You have many things going on already in the morning so I think that's covered. After classes you can try spending time with your friends while in the evening you can study and do homework. Some afternoons, you can switch it up from friends to do something else you like doing. Then there are the weekends and holiday periods with no classes. You can take advantage of those to really continue training.'' Kay paused for breath at that moment.
Pretty soon she got back into the groove of her slightly heavier breathing from the run. It was such a beautiful track to be running. The view was simply perfect! "Nothing in particular, Marsha. Have you ever ran around the Lake? I ran there during my seventh year a few times, shortly after I really got into running. I'd like to do so again sometime for old time's sake.'' |
