Kay sipped her juice. She wasn't sure if fruit juice had been around a lot at Hogwarts before but it certainly was now. It was a possibility that the House Elves know just how much she liked the beverage. She set down her glass, eyes still fixed on the student. Kay could tell she had been caught of guard with her presence. Woops, the professor hadn't meant to do that.
She listened to the girl's predicament, hoping to offer some tips. "I'm all too familiar with that," was her reply and with a nod of her head. "There are movements you're really good at then there are those..." She trailed off as Valkyrie tried the S shaped wand movement. "Practice is key as I'm sure you know already. You should have one of your friends practice with you. I found it a lot of fun to have my friends do that with me and plus I rememebered the movements a lot faster." It was how she survived DADA and the other subjects. |
