HISTORY

Born and raised in Rye, East Sussex, England. She is muggle born, and her parents and sister are not supportive of her magical abilities. However, her younger brother is very accepting and loves spending time with his magical sister. She began attending Hogwarts at age 11 despite her parents being highly disagreeable. She attended Hogwarts from 2072 - 2079. It was home for her in so many ways. Her parents never wrote to her, she didn't even come home for Christmas. They did send her small gifts, but never a letter to go with it. She never really shared this heartache with her friends. She just told them that her parents didn't have a lot of money and couldn't really afford to pay an Owl to send her letters, which wasn't the case at all. Her father has a very well paying job and her mother is basically a trophy wife. Isley was pretty much on her own after she graduated from Hogwarts. She went home long enough to pack her things and say goodbye to her family. She hasn't seen her parents or sister since. But her brother keeps her updated on them and visits her frequently.

After graduating from Hogwarts, she moved to wizarding section of London. Isley always had a knack for cooking and baking, so she went to a Muggle culinary school. Her parents gave her a very large sum of money before she left them, which helped pay for school as well as somewhere to live. She worked at a muggle restaurant as a waitress. It wasn't the Leaky Cauldron, but it was great! Once she graduated from culinary school, she became the head chef at the restaurant. She was there for about 5 years and then traveled around Europe for about 2 years, learning how to create delicious and decadent meals and desserts in every country she visited. By the time she got back to London, she was a well rounded chef, and especially loved to make pastries and ice creams from scratch. She went back to that same restaurant and worked there for about 3 more years, when she discovered that Florean's was up for sale. It took a huge chunk of her savings, but she bought it up quick!
