Having already spent most of the day at the library, she would probably get a headache if she studied any more materials ahead of time. So that was no longer an option. Her next thought was to go back up to the Ravenclaw Common Room. That could be headache-inducing for entirely different reasons. And so, that left the one place she could be alone...or if not completely alone, at peace.

She made her way up all the staircases and found herself at the Astronomy Tower, a very familiar space since she was always so close to it - both emotionally and physically. Knowing the policy about the observatory, and knowing that curfew wasn't for a while, Clara waltzed past the offices and found the observatory itself; this is what she came here for.

Ever since Clara was a small child, she was not drawn to nature. She was drawn to the indoors. After all, that was where the books and musical instruments were. It wasn't that she hated the outdoors. In fact, she found nature to be very aesthetically appealing in photographs and such. It was honestly breathtaking at times, to be honest. However, being in nature was often difficult. Either it was too hot or too humid or there were...insects. But tonight was none of those things.

As she took a seat and looked up above, the sky was considerably clear, and the stars were bright, as they always were, as they should be. There was no other student here, and seeing how vast the world truly was made her heart swell. In just a few days, Clara would be reunited with astronomy in a classroom setting, and even though she was definitely excited for that, there was something so calming about this moment. It was her and the night and nothing else.
Rooney would be the first to admit that his interest in Astronomy had diminished majestically since he had came to Hogwarts, but would also be the first to say he had no idea why it had. It wasn't that Roo didn't enjoy it, but he had a lot going on in terms of learning and the thing he had been reading about since he was 3 was something that lay best at the back of his mind. It wasn't in his future plans. He wouldn't need it unless he auditioned for a part in a space-based play, and even then..he bet he wouldn't actually need it. It was still a place he found solace in when he needed something quiet and familiar.

Quiet, was what he was as he joined a younger Ravenclaw -- a Miss Clara, in fact -- and sat down beside her. "Nice evening?" He thought so.

Perfect way to unwind before heading to bed with a day of classes ahead.
