Oh yay, they were going to draw themselves as animation characters! Carl could barely contain his excitement as he listened to Professor Stewart's instructions. He thought about his many favorite characters and decided on one quickly. He was not good at drawing, but was determined to try his best.

The Second Year got up from his seat and went up to the front to grab the art supplies. Crayons, eraser and sharpener from the first box and a few sheets of paper from the second, just in case he wanted to start over. He went back to his seat, a rough idea of his work already forming itself in his mind.

Carl took out his pencil and started to draw the head of Superman, with angled jaw and chin. The main difference between his drawing and the real character was the hair. No curl on the forehead. It was going to be blonde, of course, but he was not at the coloring stage yet.
