Kay decided that she as not going to sit at the Staff table right now because she wanted to mingle some more with the students. She already knew quite a bit of Ravenclaws so she would be switching things up- interacting with students from another House. She randomly chose the Slytherin table and with a glass of fruit juice already in hand, she slid into a seat beside a first year.
"Good morning, Ms Atwater!'' Atwater was her name, Kay hoped. She sometimes had difficulty remembering names of her students since she was still newish and Hogwarts accommodated a lot of kiddos. "If I'm disturbing you, I can stop but is there anything I can help you with?'' The woman did notice the Charms book. |
