Busy enjoying her crumpet, Janelle was happy to hear that the food and drink were untainted. That was a relief, seeing as how she had almost finished her pre class snack. Janelle then heard a voice speaking to her. A Slytherin girl that she had seen around, but didn't really know, had joined her at the table. It was always nice to have someone close to your age to talk to. "Hey yourself", Janelle replied. "I'm Janelle, by the way", she added, as she took the last bite of food. "Well that really hit the spot. Good stuff, huh?"

Then the professor continued to speak and Janelle turned her attention to the front of the class. Ahhhh, so they would be doing Tasseomancy today. As for what she knew about it......not much. She tried to call up what she knew about the subject and then raised her hand. "Tasseomancy involves reading tea leaves. You can't use tea bags, by the way. You pour out the liquid or drink it until and interpret the shapes that the leftover tea leaves form.". Annnnd that was about the extent of her knowledge.
