Immediately Gabby picked up that Lynley was in a good mood. That was a plus though she didn't know how long that would last. Usually she didn't care if fights started, but she didn't want to have one with her boss.

After a moment of hesitation, she opened the door. "Hello," she said with a small smile. Hopefully this wouldn't be as awkward as she was imagining in her head but she would deal with things however they ended up happening. "I thought that now was a good time to discuss my maternity leave," she added as she took a seat. How long did these things usually take?
