"It'll be fine. Everyone will work on the tarp and there's zero cleanup required."
Kaycee grinned. "Yeah. Of course. Just stay on the tarp?" Otherwise the easy cleanup thing was pointless. "Take your pick. I was thinking since Professor Primeaux was here, maybe he had a few useful charms to show us before we get started."
SEE PROFESSOR. THIS WAS WHOLESOME AND EDUCATIONAL! Ha!
BLINK. BLINKblinkBLINK. Or there could be things like this that could cause problems.
But hey. That sounded like a shout of for having a great idea. So she'd let this situation slide. How much problems could an immobilized relative cause?

Thank Merlin for Dueling Club and those Dueling Dummies. "100 Points from Professors!" Torrance yelled actually sorta peeved that his Uncle tried to hit him with a spell. He rolled back upright and sat crisscross applesauce, then huffed.
"Just trying to have some Pre-Halloween Fun. I got Uncle Saul with that all the time." Mind you that Uncle was a Former MLE employee and currently a Private Eye. So...now that he thought about it, He got pretty damn easy with Uncle Saul.
He stood up from his spot and still stink eyed his Uncle, but stood beside the familiar man none-the-less. "Can I carve some pumpkins too?"

She was so excited that she started to walk away before the professor had a chance to answer her. She couldn't beileve it. She had to thank the beautiful day for forcing her outside today , Otherwise she may have missed this chance to not only have a blast but maybe even learn something useful to so her younger siblings.
" Thank you," Miranda said with a huge dorko smile. "She found a spot on the tarp and chose what she thought was the perfect carving pumpkin..... mmmkay. Now how much longer could it be... Miranda hated waiting... so she filled the air with her incessant talking.
" My name is Miranda by the way. My friends call me Randa or Randi. Which ever you like so long as it isn't my full name... I absolutely hate my name...How many others do you think will come?"
Did Torrance just say he was taking points? Julien looked at him a little amused,
"You do not jump on a professor like that nor do you scare someone that is holding their wand. I should take points from your house of give you detention." He wasn't fuming and was actually calm, though his face showed how serious he was.
"Your uncle Saul isn't at school with a bunch of children either. Here we have rules for a reason. I will never see you do that to anyone again or I will personally make sure a detention and an owl home to grandpa happens."
Turning back to the Kaycee he nodded,
"Sorry for that. Torrance was just a bit excited it seems to start carving. Why don't you pick a pumpkin Torrance and find a place." He'd be watching him. No need to have any more issues.
Looking and seeing another student Julien picked his own pumpkin.
"Good Day Miranda, do you know the cutting spell to use?" He lifted his wand and started carving the top of the pumpkin. Glancing over at the spoons he wondered if the students would use those or the vanishing spell.
"If you are scooping the seeds out you might want to save them and give them to the elves. They could roast them for us." Roasted pumpkin seeds sounded very good at the moment.
