"No." Maddie looked up at the boy, eyebrows raised. Had she been lost, she wouldn't have been sitting on a bridge out in the cold. She'd have been searching until she found the location she was seeking out. She quite liked it, being somewhere unfamiliar. The being lost was a challenge, rather than an inconvenience.

"I'm just getting some fresh air. You're lost, though." Apparently. "Which implies you can't find your way to somewhere. Where are you trying to go?"
