Scarlett practically BOUNCED into the Divination room, eyeing everything as she took a seat at the nearest table she could find. Hmm, would this lesson be on tea leaves? It seemed like a logical guess. Once she had settled down, she went up to the front and grabbed a cookie. Once she got her seat, she cracked it open, not even waiting to see if they were supposed to wait or not.
"The time is right to make new friends," she read aloud. Huh. That was a pretty straight forward fortune - and she could use more friends! She could ALWAYS use more friends.
Except...she was still seated at the table by herself. Meh. Hopefully someone would join her soon and she could fulfill her fortune! Skylar didn't know what to think about Divination. She heard many ideas regarding the subject, but tried to keep an open mind about it. Indifferent expression, the first year made her way into the classroom taking a look around at the room and noticed it was set up like a tea party might be. Except with fortune cookies. So was it Chinese in origin?
Finding an open seat next to a Hufflepuff girl who looked way to excited to be here, but perhaps she could help her if she struggled?, Sky decided right then that she wasn't drinking the tea. Or the water or the juice. Last time she drank something offered at the start of the lesson, she shrank to the size of an insect. She would however open her fortune, but only because she happened to thoroughly enjoy the sayings.
Be definite now, worry about precision later. Skylar read quietly to herself, before looking up to take in more about the girl at her table. What did that even mean? She didn't need to be accurate? She was already perplexed and the lesson hadn't even started!
