Cornelius' head tilted to the side at Azura's change in demeanor. Had he said something wrong? The ruckus startled him, causing his arms to flail into the air. It was almost enough to make him reach for his wand. "Woah! Didn't know it was THAT close." Haha. Embarrassing.

Azura smiled as Cornelius spoke, "I bet it's hard dueling friends." She said softly, if Jace had been in dueling club, there would have been so way she would have been able to duel him! She would have given up or gotten herself injured or something. "I will let you know." She said with a smile as she nodded at him. She wasn't sure if she was going to participate this year due to.. reasons, but if she was, he would be on the list of people she told.

Azura's dull purple eyes watched Cornelius as he backed up a bit.. "Oh, it's all right, it's just.. family issues." She had found out that response worked well. It was mostly the truth though, she DID have some major family issues..

"Hey watch..." She never got to finish her sentence, he was about to back into the drums! Azura moved off the piano bench quickly and moved towards him to make sure he didn't fall over or something! Eeek! Flaily!

"Are you okay?" She asked him as she hovered near him.
