Proud father moment and all. The quidditch gene ran in the family. "Not something I was interested in after my time here, but I do enjoy watching it still."
He nodded as she talked about the band. It was always nice to have a hobby and big dreams. He just hoped they understood reality could be that it didn't happen, though he wouldn't be the one to hurt their hopes and dreams. "Healing? That is a very respectful career. What type of healing are you thinking about?" Charms was good for that, did she know? Though her owls showed she did.
"Maybe you have already found that switch in this healing?" He was curious to see if she had thought out a plan. "Mr. Kitridge has a great career section that could help you along the way to know exactly what you should be doing here to get you where you need."
This was true. Both her birth parents were into music, her father played the guitar and her mother danced. As did her dad who used to play the drums.
"My parents passed their love of all things music down to me then," she replied with a light smile. A love which she was gladly sharing with her younger cousin now. Whoa! He had been a chaser at Hogwarts?! Hady smiled listening to him as he spoke about his son now being a professional on a team.
"I don't really follow the teams much but I very well may start if my step-brother makes one of the teams after he graduates." Which team he was going out for she couldn't even remember. Oops.
The band was something she was proud of but she wasn't sure where it would take them. Hopefully far but if not she wished the best for her band sisters.
"Healing of creatures." All creatures. Narrowing it down to just one wouldn't do. Surely she would end up specializing in one or two but no creature would be turned away.
Hadleigh practically beamed in ways of a reply.
"I most certainly have." No doubt in her mind on this.
"I know this as well I've read up on every book Mr. Kittridge has on the topic over the years. I've then went on to speak with Mr. Draper about it as well and he advised me to try applying for different things this past summer which I did. That's how I ended up spending my summer break in Ireland at a Rescue Reserve for all types of creatures." Cue beamy smiles and happy bouncing on the balls of her feet. Best summer ever achieved!
