Olly may have been running a bit late. Usually he was awake pretty early but that had not been the case this morning. He hadn't even woken up when his alarm went off and as a result he missed breakfast and was about to miss his first class of the day if he didn't hurry. His robes had been pulled on haphazardly and he hadn't even brushed his hair. There was no time. He couldn't be late. It wasn't that he particularly cared about the lesson but he knew that being late was bad and he didn't want to be rude. Plus he didn't want to lose points of course.

But as he hurried past the mirror he couldn't help put pause. He couldn't rush into a classroom looking like that. He quickly tried to flatten his hair and it did help a bit. He tugged on his robes to straighten them out until he looked more presentable. That would be acceptable, right? He peered closely at himself one more time before turning to go.

Except before he left he caught sight of something underneath the mirror. That didn't look like part of the mirror, what was it doing there? Olly knelt down and picked it up to study it more carefully. Yeah, that definitely didn't belong under the mirror, but where had it come from? He didn't have any time to ponder at the moment because he suddenly remembered that he was running late. Right. He shoved the mysterious object into his pocket and rushed off.
