Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch Besides the Room of Requirement, there was really only one other place in the castle were Frankie would be left in solitude: the prefects' bathroom. After the very brief encounter he just had with ... with ... The blond just needed to go somewhere for a little while to let everything sink in. Did he make the right decision?
After muttering the password and silently slipping into the private bathroom, he was quick to approach the swimming pool-like tub and turned a couple tabs. Water began to rapidly fill the tub as he changed into just his swimming trunks. The Gryffindor stared blankly at the mermaids moving on the stained glass windows as a thousand thoughts ran through his mind. Was he in the wrong? Had he overreacted? Was he being selfish for putting an end to it all? There was a knot in his stomach and his heart was heavy. It happened so fast, so unexpectedly. It bursted out of him like lava from a volcano. I can't do this. I just can't. You taking every single class, doing the band thing, and everything else in between keeps you away all the time. I tried being patient and understanding and supportive, believe me. But it just ... it isn't going to work anymore. Not like this.
Taking a deep breath, Frankie jumped into the tub and swam to the bottom. He sat there, arms around his legs, as long as he could before his lungs began to ache. When he could take it no more, he returned to the surface and gasped for air. Once his breathing was back to normal, he floated on his back and glided around the tub, wondering what a future with Hadleigh Lynch not being his girlfriend would bring.
