Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right. Distracted by countless distractions, it took Torrance way to long to finally get himself down to just outside the headmaster's Office. He wasn't really sure what he would do once the Man appeared, if he appeared at all. All he really wanted to do was listen to the guy talk. He would happily find any topic to discuss with him if that was his entire motivation for coming down here.
If only he had somehow conned the password off of Uncle Professor Julien. He could wait for him in the Office.
Alas...this will do. He sat on one of the two chairs then also picked up a magazine. It didn't matter what it was. He just flipped through it.
Mere minutes began to feel like hours! Torrance hopped up of the chair and began to pace around the hallway entrance to the office. He stopped suddenly and then just began to stare at the Stone Gargoyle...who stared back at him...so he stared back even harder. Which then stared back even harder at him! He closed in on the gargoyle until his fleshly nose pressed up against the stone cold nose of the statue. |
