Isabella didn't really want to be here, standing outside a door to what she assumed was the Herbology professor's office. But her mother had suggested she meet her head of house, so Isabella agreed. It was a good thing she hadn't told her that the Hufflepuff head of house was also the Herbology professor, or her mother probably would have shown up at Hogwarts herself to forcibly introduce Isabella to the man. As it was, Isabella knew she couldn't lie and just say she had met the professor, because what if her mother found out? Surely they knew the same people. The same...plant people.
