shy.
She needed Olly's advice. He seemed to be doing well - having friends, chatting it up, et cetera.
"Hi, Olly," she greeted him, hugging him as she sat down next to him. She put her chin on his shoulder. "How's Hercules?"
Olly didn't know how much time had passed between his arrival and Ellery's. He had been distracted by looking up at the stars. He couldn't see them as well without a telescope, and he hadn't wanted to go over to that large one because, to be honest, it scared him a little. But he was perfectly content just looking at what he could see with his own two eyes.
And then there was somebody next to him. Somebody hugging him. It surprised him for just a fraction of a second before he realized it was Ellery. Then he was smiling and hugging her back.
"Ellery!" He may have forgotten the actual greeting in his excitement.
"He's good. I got a letter..." He had to count in his head to remember exactly when said letter had arrived.
"Two days ago. Dads said he should be able to come home any day now." He beamed at that. He was so excited the crup was going to be okay, even if he wasn't able to see him for a while.
"How has Gryffindor been so far?"
