And hopefully she didn't bank on it repeating itself because this was a one time thing. Even James didn't see it coming. And he saw everything coming. "Ah, good," he nodded. "I'll admit I would've been disappointed to hear otherwise." But maybe he was biased. "You've been working hard, I can tell that it'll work in your favor." Especially with the head start she had.

"And while I'm glad to hear you had an enjoyable summer," he looked around, "I've been meaning to find you to extend a congratulations," he smiled. Ought to say why, yeah? Or had she figured that much out on her own?
