With his backpack fit to bursting - and probably just about to, seeing as he'd had it since first year and it was being held together by an abundance of repairing charms - the fifth year returned to his dormitory to empty the many needed books he'd just checked out of the library before heading up to dinner. Although, Dalton couldn't help but contemplate, he wasn't even really that hungry.

Emptying his bag, he inspected the ripping seams with a sigh, before flopping back onto his bead and groaning. It didn't look like there was much that could be done for it other than buying a new one, especially not with the size of the textbooks he'd be carrying around near enough every day this year.
