Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat on Earth was this guy babbling about? And was he really a knight!? COOOOOOOL!!!!! Keep it together Haddie. The girl cleared her throat and just stared at him.
Her seven year old brain was working overtime to fill in the details his answers were clearly lacking. Like, was there a clothing store in the castle? That sold normal clothes? What was the Defense Against the Dark Arts? Were they trying to ban black paint or something? What was wrong with black paint? What color did they use for the pupils of eyes then? As a knight was he aware of the Cult in the basement. Or...oh, that was the dungeon and he captured them! And they were just staying there voluntarily?
LAMEST CULT EVER.
Then there were the things that her brain couldn't make sense of. "I don't know you," she said, decisive and fierce. "I have never met you before, sir." 'Cuz knights were sirs. And as a good knight, he was of course concerned about whether or not she was okay. That's how knights were. He must also know that she's a fairy princess and was sent to protect her. Obviously. "I'm feeling peachy keen, peaches."
There now that that was out of the way. "Can you take me to the clothing store?" So she could get some normal clothes that fit. "And you should probably tell someone to lock the dungeons. If I can leave then so can the prisoners. Unless it's enchanted." Her little eyes grew huge and she bounced up and down excitedly. "That's it, isn't it!? It's enchanted! Cool!" She stood silently for a moment, waiting for the Knight to lead the way to the clothing store, rocking a little bit as she did. "And why do you hate black paint?"
