Slipping her sandal back on, she shook her head. "I'm not one of you," she said, simply. "May be where that mangy hat put me, but it's not what I am." She slid her wand back in her pocket and rested her forearms on her knees, still gazing out over the water but looking at nothing in particular. "I know where I belong."
