Barry was not in the least bit surprised that Jack was yelling at him. He had honestly expected much worse like a punch but Nora had been the only person to hit him. So far at least.
"It really DID just happen." He was keeping his voice calm because he did not want to get into a huge fight with his brother. Of course that was probably going to happen since Rosemary WAS Jack's wife. "We came here to get everything out in the open." Though, it wouldn't have happened now if Rosemary hadn't gotten pregnant but he was going to leave that unsaid. Now his brother would want nothing to do with him and the rest of his family probably wouldn't either. He couldn't blame them for that; he would have felt the same way in their place.
His attention turned back to his wife. It was hard to believe that after everything he had done she still wanted him in her life. "Nora... I love you so much and I always have. I didn't think you loved me anymore." He took her hands in his. She still loved him after everything he had done; she would never stop loving him. "I can never make up for what I did to you and our boys."
That was when he heard Rosemary. "Are you and the baby okay?" he asked full of concern. He didn't want anything bad to happen to either of them. |
