| Post 3 Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite Okay, this was more like it. A lighter purple and the clock on the wall signalling that he'd come to the end of a muscle wrenching exercise. It wasn't even that stirring was so hard, but more that a repetitive action like this one did make your muscles start to ache after awhile and before you knew it, they were going numb.
The boy was about to drop the spoon in favour of giving the arm he REALLY NEEDED a break but the instructions said he had to keep stirring, blatantly disregarding whatever aches and pains he now had.
A compromise would be necessary. It would take skill and strategy--or actually, all it really took was him switching hands but he was sure his quill could make it sound more epic than that so he would leave it to it.
With the new arm...somewhat more sloppy than his right one, Blaise managed to continue stirring while he added the tortoise shell. Brown eyes locked on the mixture as he hoped against all else that it turned a more creamy colour otherwise he might have to start over and if he was being completely honest, he didn't think he would. Stirring for ten minutes straight then continuing that stir was something he was only prepared to do once today. His arms couldn't handle it. They still hadn't grown in their muscles, y'know?
Thankfully though, it did become more creamy in colour, much to the young boy's delight.
Of course, with the next set of instructions not being so clear, Blaise allowed himself to stop stirring. What was the worst that could happen and anyway who would expect him to continue stirring for another eight minutes? Did he LOOK like a machine? No? Didn't think so. Eight minutes, watching the clock for eight minutes...resting his eyes for eight minutes...same difference really.
Don't mind him, he was still paying attention. Sort of... Quote:
