Jaemin repeated this mentally to himself a few times, completely missing how sad that actually was in the grand scheme of things. He was still rather anxious about being so tiny, but... there was hardly anything he could do about it currently, and it didn't seem like Paul would be bigging them up any time soon because he was currently carrying on the lesson in his swishy weird dress.
He just had to catch his breath and calm down. All would be fine.
The easiest thing to do to make himself feel better was to focus on class, and on the task at hand. The small boy was having one heck of a time actually paying attention to anything other than the fact that dirt looked so weird when you were tiny, but he tried to force himself to listen to Professor Myers.
The riddle was... actually fairly easy, which was odd because Jaemin sometimes struggled with things that weren't straightforward. The Slytherin blinked at the professor for a moment before pointing his wand at the ground.
Didn't know a spell to make it rain, but he could make water easily enough. "Aguamenti."
He was still a bit shaken, but the water stream came out rather steady anyway, soaking easily into the soil and turning it darker. He cast pointed glances around at the rest of the class as well, hoping they would... hurry up and do it. He wanted to be big again, and getting through riddles seemed the fastest way to get there. |
