ROOTS! YAS! He knew things about those... he did. Plants couldn't function without rooots!
But then... there were SO many parts of roses that he was easily getting bored - despite the drama - he ignored the drama... it wasn't for him. When at long last they got to the whole clarifying the parts of the plant with the text reference pointed out to them, Zeke was ready to make a mental note to practice labelling a diagram of it when Myers expressed that he wouldn't be assessing them on it.

And what was more.... their drinks were spiked.

He knew there were good reasons not to drink things Professor's gave them! HE ESCAPED THE SPIKING! Sucked in for everyone that didn't.
Only... he wasn't off the hook. He managed to catch the look on Hady's face before he felt his stature diminishing.

With only enough time for the realities to dawn on him, Zeke managed to change his expression from one of triumph to one of disdain. He was being shrunken anyway. Fine. FINE. Though he could have done it himself, thank you very much.
Small in stature, Zeke peered from the dirt up to the rose bush. Like.... it was HUGE... how exactly were they supposed to look after these things???
