So yes, every time he popped in he had to drag furniture over. And yes, it was all the way up on the sixth floor. BUT the beauty really was that he could make this place his office whenever he wanted and no one would know. Just cloooooosing the door ever-so-gently and tip-toeing all the way over to the chair he had brought..... Kicking his feet up on the small impromptu table....
And cracking open his book....
See no one would know to come bother him up here. Office Hours have been postponed.
Professor seeking quiet refuge.
Home sweet spare office thread. She needed space. Hadley was still dealing with things left over from her summer, and it was hard to deal with them surrounded by people. So, she was always looking for places to escape where she could be alone for a bit.
Outside, outside was where Hads preferred to be. But it was too open and too many people keep finding her. And the castle has a lot of nooks and crannies that no one really goes into...like this empty office. Right here.
It's perfect. Grinning, Hadley Denaker made her way to the door, pet ferret Asher on her shoulder as always. This was perfect. No one would bother her here. Humming softly to herself, Haddie threw open the door, letting it slam shut behind her and... "What are you doing here!?" Why universe? Why him? He had an office. Letting out an annoyed little ugh!, Hadley spun on her heels. She wasn't waiting around for an answer, nor was she gonna stay in here with Drapes. No way.
She tugged on the door.
...
Why wasn't the door opening? She tugged harder, but the thing wouldn't budge. "Great, the door's jammed!"
