Her gaze turned to the set up Leo had put together. "This is just wonderful!'' There was so much sweets! Juice, too. She was a big fan of juice, especially fruit ones. "I suppose the kids will get here soon enough.'' Leo was checking the number of sweets by the time that the new muggle studies professor approached him. Turning to her, he smiled. "You're quite welcome, It was the least I could do for another former eagle." Letting his eyes run over the games Kay had brought along as they were placed on the table he said "Thanks for bringing the games. I'm sure the student's will enjoy them if there are easy instructions to how you play the games?" Half of the games he himself had never heard of before. SPOILER!!: Kitty Quote:

Because she didn't want him to think for a moment that she was just planning to skip the party and go to bed. No, no, no - skipping a party was so not Kitty. She walked past him quickly with the crate in her arms and walked up the stairs and entered the third year's dormitory. One thing Leo had always loved about Hogwarts and its students was the diversity. Not one student looked or acted exactly the same as someone else. Kitty who was one of the first eagles to arrive to the common room was a clear proof of that. Smiling at dark haired and heaved make-up'd second year Leo said "Good evening Kitty, did you have a good summer vacation?" Letting his eyes drop to the crate of worm's in Kitty's arms he nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. You will need your hands free if you want to eat or drink something hot or even play a muggle board game before bed." Plus he wasn't sure if the worms would have liked all the noises. SPOILER!!: Louise Quote:

Especially since apparently she would have to answer one every single time she wanted to get into the dorm.
She had heard that there was supposed to be a House Meeting... was this so that the new students could meet everyone and go over rules? It was good to know rules, get the lay of the land, she supposed. It would be more fun to figure them out by trial and error, though.
Her overlarge robes swamped her small figure as she wandered around aimlessly, examining anything her eye fell upon. The next eagle to arrive into the the Common Room was a brunette haired girl that he had watched being sorted by the sorting hat at the feast earlier that night. "Welcome to Ravenclaw, Louise!" Leo called over to the first year, a warm smile pursing his lips. "Was it nerve-wracking to sit on that stool at the feast and have the sorting hat sort you?" It was after all not every-day that you had a magical hat see into your head. SPOILER!!: Abby Quote:

Going over to the senior girl he flashed her a cheerful smile "Good evening Abby, do you care for some hot chocolate before bed, and maybe a game of scrabble?" SPOILER!!: Chloe Quote:

After she had set up shop for the whole year. There was a lot to unpack and things to hang before she could crawl into bed.
However, when she wandered into the Common Room it looked like a crowd had formed. And people were blocking a lot of the avenues to get to the dormitories.
She rubbed her face in frustration. Just like Leo had seen Abby arrive he had also seen Chole enter. When his eyes landed on the third year a second time he got confused by all her face rubbing. If she continued with that her face would turn beat red. Walking towards her Leo called out. "Good evening Chloe, is everything all right? Have you got something that is itching in your face?" Which would explain all the face rubbing? Or was he totally barking up the wrongv tree? SPOILER!!: Katherine Quote:

Only after hearing some sounds did she emerge from the dormitories, and put on her most suck-up smile ever. "Professor Kitridge and Stewart," she said as she bowed slightly. She wasn't going to mess this up, see? Seeing as the new addition to the staff was already busy with talking to others, she made her way to the Librarian. "May I help with anything, sir?" Katherine Moss, always the most polite and considerate... Everyone seem to be emerging into the Common Room after answering the bronze knocker's riddles. Not Katherine however. She emerged from the girl's dormitories with a smile on her face which made Leo smiled cheerfully in return when she approached. "Good evening Katherine, did you have a good summer?" Gesturing to the board games he asked "Have you ever played any of those muggle board games?"
Deeming that enough student's had arrived Leo cleared his throat and used a non-verbal spell to enhance his voice slightly as he adressed the students. "Welcome all eagles both new and old to another wonderful year of learning here at Hogwarts! This years house prefects are Rooney Bronwyn and Head Girl Penelope Wright. If you have any questions or problems then don't hesitate to seek them our for help and assistance."
Gesturing to Professor Kay as he continued speaking Leo said "Our new muggle studies professsor Stewart who also is a former eagle is our guest here tonight at our house meeting. She has brought along some fun muggle board games for us all to try out. There are also plenty of hot beverages and sweets to stick your teeth into. So everyone chat, play some games and eat some sweets before going to bed, classes start as always after breakfast tomorrow!"
