He offered an awkward smile as she bent down to help him, though, debating as to whether he should stop her because he could do it himself, but actually refraining from doing so. After all, it
had been her fault. And he appreciated the help.

Straightening up and putting a few of the books down on a nearby table, Dalton took the book from Char's hand and frowned down at the cover. "That's because I'm not the kind of person who likes to study." People who liked to study - and he would have doubted their existence if his friend wasn't so persistent - we're completely crazy, in his opinion. "It's a means to an end." That was easier than saying he was a bit stupid when it came to school work, right?
