Cornelius JUMPED at the sound of a BOOMING voice, spilling some tea on his lap. Thank Merlin it hadn't been that hot or else...his poor family jewels. He was the only boy in his family and had to take care of that, mind you.
But who cared about family jewels; there was a FREAKING RED QUEEN IN DA HOUSE! OMM!!!!
He held it in. The fan-boying. He held it in until...Someone will lose his head...
"Off with their head!!" GIGGLE!SNORT. HAHAHAHA. FANBOYING LEVEL AT 100%.
Still laughing into his hand, cheeks red from trying to control his laughter, Cornelius took a long chug of tea, finishing it up in one sip when Professor Red Queen Myers said so. Any man brave enough to wear such a gown earned Cornelius' respect.
At the question his hand shot up faster than lightning. "Oh, oh, oh!" ME ME ME ME. MYERS MEEEEE. "Because they are special roses and the changing colors is like, some sort of mechanism. Like...a defense mechanism and when they don't sense danger they go back to being red but if you touch them they turn white." He just made that up because it sounded cool and Myers did say to make something up, so he made something up.
The Slytherin boy raised his hand again and added, "Great outfit, by the way. 100% awesome." He gave Myers a BIG THUMBS UP and a dimply smile. He was writing his mum about this.
Dear Ma', my Herbology teacher (the one with the poncho) wore a gown today and threatened someone would lose their head. xx Cornelius.
