Now she was glad she hadn't drank whatever tea Professor Myers or the Queen of Hearts or whatever else he was going to claim to be made. This was a lot for a morning. Did he know that? Because he was getting unimpressed looks from a thirteen year old.
Why did they turn white? Because he made them do that so he could dress up because he was feeling unfilled in his personal life? She didn't know. Did it look like she knew? Chloe was thirteen. She didn't know why adults did HALF of the things they felt inclined to do.
