 Fluttery Pegasi
Hadley Denaker was drinking her water when Myers burst in. She had been standing back there watching everyone group together, just observing that happenings. It wasn't really like her, but then she been doing things like this since she got back, so maybe she was just growing up?
Can a person choke on water? Because she was pretty sure she was choking on water right now. Consequence of holding in the spit take her body wanted to do. You can thank her later kid who seated right in front of her. When the choking had turned into laughter wasn't that clear. Maybe it was a combination of choking and laughing from the start, but Merlin, she was laughing hard.
It took her minutes to pull herself together, but one look at Myers again, and it all came apart. She burst into laughter again. She might have had a black thumb and found the subject of Herbology boring, but boy did Myers make his classes some of the most entertaining and fun at Hogwarts. Eventually, when she was able to, and between chuckles, Hadley managed an answer that was something like, "Because you wanted them to?" but not quite. It was hard to speak and try to keep yourself from bursting into laughter again.
