Gendry walked into the greenhouse with almost a shuffle. He noticed a few other students there who seemed to be older and obviously some knew each other. He hadn't been particularly sociable since the great feast, but felt that he needed to get his bearings. Not knowing anyone was tough. He observed the solitary rosebush and no professor. He glanced at the board and saw the notes.

He looked for a seat in the middle without anyone nearby and sat down and began to make himself a cup of tea. Carefully taking two sugar packets, he poured them into his steeping water and taking his finger, he tried to stir his tea. It was a bit warm and he quickly pulled it out and stuck it in his mouth, to cool the burn. He wondered how he would stir his tea. This wasn't starting out well.
