| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict The first thing Brooklyn had noticed upon her arrival at the greenhouses was that there was obviously something different. The roses weren’t particularly something that attracted her attention, even given the few reactions she saw from others who had dared touch the blossoms. The color change hardly merited surprise, not when they studied magic. She would have been more surprised if they’d just been normal roses, and actually slightly disappointed.
The curious thing was the absence of Professor Myers, meaning she didn’t have to worry about greeting him. If they were lucky, there wouldn’t be a meditation circle or any of the other things that generally annoyed her. She liked compliments, but she disliked feeling like she was obligated to give them.
Instead, she just served herself a cup of tea, idly stirring it with a sugar quill from her bag instead of dealing with using the sweeteners and things on the table she’d sat down at. She wasn’t about to do a face plant into the rose bushes or anything like that.
