Fiyero was excited fir his first class at Hogwarts. He wasn't sure if he'd like Herbology, but he'd heard Professor Myers was nice,and hey, at least it was outside!
He put on his cherriest smile -the teacher said to bring a positive attitude, right? But before he could speak, he realized the professor was nowhere to be found! How come we have to show up on time when he's not even here? he thought indignantly, but his mood didn't last long.
As he looked around the greenhouse, he saw roses, most of them red but some white, everywhere.They looked just like the ones Grandma Jones grew in her garden: Fiyero was unimpressed. That's it?! Maybe they were magical roses...Surely they had to do something besides just sit there!
Fiyero touched one of the red blooms; it instantly turned white. Whoa, that was awesome! He had to get a picture of that! Rummaging through his bag, he pulled out his camera and snapped a shot of one of the roses in mid-transformation as he touched it.
He wondered if the flowers had been charmed to change colors or if they were a special kind of magic flower. Or maybe they were going to learn some growing technique that made them do that...He suddenly noticed the writing on the board about staying hydrated. Hmm... maybe the flowers changed because of water (or lack of it).
Fiyero was just about yo help himself to a cup if tea - with about 6 or 7 packets of sugar- when he overheard a boy (Tenacius) mention something about tea making you pee. Maybe the teacher had offered 2 choices of beverages to prove a point. If that was the case, he wanted to make the right choice.
Opting for the water instead, Fiyero took a bottle ftom the back of the room, plopping down in the nearest seat he could find.
