Louise blinked, a little shocked that she had been confronted already by a teacher. Well, what did you expect at a party... she thought to herself as she leaned against the statue. She hadn't quite finished examining it when the professor had walked over-what was her name?- but felt that now that she was invited into conversation it would be rude to continue browsing the room.

It was a party she reminded herself. And she must say something. She tried to speak a couple times inbetween Kitty's bubbling conversation, but she wasn't fast enough (and wasn't near confinent enough to interrupt an older housemate.) It was better to do what she did best: quietly listen.

Eventually, though, even Louise couldn't miss her chance. " Hello, Professor. I'm from a Muggle family," she managed to say (albeit very quietly.)
