Evie had ran and checked the pasteboard in the Gryffindor Common Room three times the night before to confirm she had written down the correct times for their first Herboloy lesson. In her head she went over and over the mental map of the route to the greenhouse from the great hall. She wanted to make sure that she was not going to be late for her first class at Hogwarts.
She made her way down to Greenhouse #1 and waited outside until it was a little closer to time. She may have shown up an hour and a half early. But good impressions right?! Entering the greenhouse she looked over each plant, staying a careful distance didn't some plants like attack you? She looked around at the shelves and the tables that lined the room. She was excited to learn everything about the wizarding world and with each passing day she began resenting her mother more and more for never showing this to her.
She realized as she stood in the middle of the greenhouse that she hadn't spoke to the professor, so much for first impressions. Turning around she realized that the professor wasn't even inside the greenhouse, reading the note left on the board she wondered towards the back and grabbed a glass of water. Better drink up.
