Aron was not entirely sure what to make of Alexa's words, but it was not the time to inquire further on the matter. At least not on the clock. Perhaps over another family dinner they could discuss things in length...or he would encourage his son to do so since the wide eyed boy had a special lichen for the glorified babysitter. "I am sure that can be easily arranged," he nodded while weighing his options. They could get Seren's mother to watch Celyn and then have an evening just the two of them. What a novel concept. "Not to mention Derfael would love to see Jessa. I just hope he doesn't bring more bouquets of lizard tails...I'll be sure to give his things a thorough look over before dropping him off."
Chortling, Aron had no time to return the banter when Alexa dove into the next topic of conversation. Aron prided himself on being laid back - the man was never seen in anything other than jeans around the Ministry unless Seren insisted upon him looking more formal - but what Alexa just had to say made him choke on air.
Oh a beverage would do a whole lot of good right about now.
"Unless you are offering to be a live in nanny, Cambridge..." he began as the door to his office swung open again. "Ah, thank you Daisy," he nodded to the woman as he took his mug. "Have you two formally met?" he asked, gesturing vaguely between the pair. "Cambridge, this is Daisy. My new personal assistant. Daisy, Alexa Cambridge. Auror and glorified babysitter."
