His first trip to the Prefects Bathroom had been...overhyped. Rooney hadn't even needed to use the bathroom, but he had been passing by about an hour ago and figured it would be good to test the area out for studying. It wasn't like a bathroom was legally unable to be somewhere to read. People took magazines to the toilet with them all of the time! And Rooney had had a chapter of his French Transfiguration textbook to translate whilst noting the important parts in another notebook. It was all a lengthy process, really.
An hour later, though, and he was in need of his common room and access to the library books that were currently sat on his bed..so he left. Bag over his shoulder, notebook stuffed back into his trousers and Rooney was on the move again.
Back to civilisation and students without badges...
Maybe the quiet bathroom had been a blessing in disguise.
