She was only looking. That's what Mason had told herself as she pushed the door open. And it wasn't like there was much to look at. She'd taken one step into the room and hadn't just been repelled by the AWFUL old-person smell, but also by some kind of magical-barrier.
The room gave her the creeps, which only intrigued her more. Was there a way into the living room? Who knew. . . maybe if she tried blasting a hole in it, it would work? Hmmm. . . |
