Everyone Mischievous Niffler Thankfully Peeves and Miffy were nowhere to be seen at the feast (they were probably off bothering the house elves or portraits) and no mischievous Gryffindor boy (looking at you Blaise) had decided it was a good time for a food fight. The result was that Kitty was happy and at peace with the world as she left the Great Hall (though a little drowsy), full and with all her makeup still on.
Kitty answered the riddle to enter the common room (taking only three minutes and having the side affect of erasing her drowsiness) before stepping in and stopping for a moment to take in the beauty and familiarity that was the Ravenclaw common room. "Good evening Professor Kitridge," said Kitty with a small smile at the librarian and head of house. "I'm going to put my worms away and then I'll be back." Because she didn't want him to think for a moment that she was just planning to skip the party and go to bed. No, no, no - skipping a party was so not Kitty. She walked past him quickly with the crate in her arms and walked up the stairs and entered the third year's dormitory. It was dark and she had to blink a few times before she was able to move forward without fear of tripping. There didn't seem to be anyone else here yet, though there might have been since some of the drapes were pulled down. Perhaps they were sleeping. Being careful not to make too much noise, Kitty made her way over to her new bed and placed her worms on the back nightstand next to it so that it wouldn't fall off. "Good night darlings," whispered Kitty softly to her beloved worms. Then she left her dormitory and walked down the stairs to the common room.
She made her way over to the new Muggle Studies professor. "Good evening professor."Kitty smiled nervously at the new Muggle Studies professor. She would have greeted her by name if she had known it, but she didn't and she hoped she didn't notice. She seemed nice enough, but Kitty's shyness with adults (especially teachers with authority) had not completely worn off from last year and she was still a little cautious. But she knew it was nice to make conversation so she gave it her best attempt. "I love Muggles so I'm really looking forward to your class. Were-were you in Ravenclaw too?" Without noticing, she twirled her fingers nervously as she talked.
After awhile she wandered over to where Haddie sat by the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw - still wearing that shirt. "He's cute," she said about the ferret with a small smile as she watched her feed him. "Does he bite?" 'Cause if he didn't, then she so wanted t pet him.
