Even though the African man arrived at the school a few weeks before the term began, he still had a lot of the castle and its grounds to see. Today Headmaster Sahnoun was exploring the grounds while the weather was still warm. After witnessing the school's resident giant squid at the Great Lake, he soon found himself walking down a path that led him straight to the Whomping Willow. When the large tree was in sight, he couldn't help but stop and stare in astonishment. They certainly did not have any trees like this anywhere near Uagadou.
The old wizard glided forward a few feet to examine the tree closer, but was soon taken aback when its branches began to swing violently. Fortunately, he was still a safe enough distance away. "Ajabu," he murmured to himself in Swahili, amazed at the scene occurring before him. |
