Evie heard a somewhat deeper voice from the others in the corridor and looked up, standing the doorway to her compartment was a boy. The brunette smiled "Well of course you can join! I'm Evie it's my first time too." She moved closer to the window so that Demean could choose which ever seat he wanted. "Are you excited to be going to Hogwarts?" She hoped that she could extort information out of a few of the other kids before they got to school.

She folded her hands in her lap and sighed inwardly, wishing her father had been there to show her off on the train. She would have given anything to have seen his face once more before she left London. But Christmas wasn't so far away. She couldn't wait to see him again.
